Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Bridal Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist brides and their families in selecting the perfect wedding attire and accessories, providing expert guidance and personalized service. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create a memorable shopping experience. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse clientele. The Bridal Consultant will also be responsible for product demonstrations, upselling, and maintaining an organized retail environment to ensure customer satisfaction and store success.
Responsibilities
- Assist brides and clients in selecting wedding dresses, accessories, and related products based on their preferences, body type, and budget
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of various bridal items
- Provide personalized styling advice and fashion recommendations to enhance customer confidence
- Upsell complementary products such as veils, jewelry, shoes, and other accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space through merchandising efforts
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
- Manage customer inquiries via phone and email etiquette with professionalism and courtesy
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively convey product information and build rapport with clients
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product displays
- Follow up with clients post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business
- Support day to day administration tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or fashion consulting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and organizational skills to maintain an attractive store environment
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and effectively upsell products
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced retail setting
- Passion for fashion, weddings, or event planning is a plus
