RPI Consulting Group is seeking a reliable and experienced Relief Pharmacist for a short-term contract position at a retail pharmacy just an hour from Prince George, BC in the heart of the Cariboo region.
Shift Dates: August 4th – 8th, 2026
Shift Times: Tuesday to Saturday (8 hour shifts - 40 hours total)
System: Kroll (Paperless)
Daily Prescription Volume: ~150 Rx/day
Support Team: 2–3 Pharmacy Assistants throughout the shift
Compensation
o $70/hour (Flights and accommodations booked and covered by RPI; details shared upon offer.)
OR
o $100/hour (all-inclusive – Cover your Travel and Accommodations – Best option for Incorporated pharmacists.)
Pharmacy Environment
- Software: Kroll (Paperless environment)
- Daily Prescription Volume: 150 Rx/day
- Support Team: 2–3 Pharmacy Assistants during the shift
Responsibilities
- Provide professional pharmacy services, including dispensing medications, patient counseling, and clinical support.
- Ensure compliance with provincial regulations and pharmacy standards (College of Pharmacists of British Columbia).
- Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy assistants.
- Maintain accurate records using Kroll software.
- Manage workflow efficiently and professionally in a paperless system.
Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Experience in a retail pharmacy setting; familiarity with Kroll is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
