Comtech (Communication Technologies) Ltd. Is an integrate communications company providing state-of-the-art telecommunication solutions. We have a wide range of service that we provide from our field staff, who perform the technical work on our cellular towers and roof tops, project manager and engineers who work together on project design and architectural concepts to our IT department, which includes our in-house Network Operation Center (NOC).
Responsibilities:
- Perform site walks with client pre-bid and develop estimate of materials and labour effort to complete work.
- Install new electrical services, typically 200 Amp 120/240 VAC, from existing building distribution or new 600 VAC service.
- Run EMT and PVC conduit as needed for electrical wiring, fiber optic wiring, CAT 6 wiring, and telecommunication DC wiring.
- Install cable tray and bond for all telecommunication systems.
- Test equipment and components for current, continuity and voltage.
- Install fiber optic, structured wiring, and RF cabling and components.
- Interpret electrical code specifications.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and drawings.
- Provide a safe work environment through continuous training and development.
Education:
- Completion of secondary school.
- Journeyperson Trade certification with Red Seal is required.
- Minimum Level 1 First Aid training is required.
- FSR or Masters Certificate is required.
Experience:
- 5+ years of electrical experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, excel, and word.
- Thorough knowledge and experience with new service installations.
- Experience in commercial electrical work is preferred.
- Experience with telecommunication systems would be an asset.

Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
