Outside Sales Representative – Hydraulics, Truck Equipment & Snow/Ice
One Stop Sales & Service Inc. is looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to help grow our business across B.C.
We specialize in hydraulic systems, PTOs, pumps, valves, truck upfitting, snow and ice equipment, service work, and custom installations for vocational trucks and commercial fleets. We also operate our own internal commercial snow clearing and ice management division, and this role will be responsible for helping us secure new snow clearing sites and seasonal contracts.
This is a key role within the company. The successful candidate will be the face of One Stop Sales & Service in the field and will report directly to ownership.
Territory
This role will cover all of British Columbia, with a focus on developing new business, supporting existing customers, and identifying growth opportunities in hydraulics, truck equipment, service, snow and ice equipment, and commercial snow clearing.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business with fleets, contractors, municipalities, dealerships, property managers, commercial sites, and vocational truck operators
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
- Sell hydraulic components, PTOs, pumps, valves, truck equipment, snowplows, sanders, liquid de-icing systems, parts, service, and installation work
- Generate new leads and secure commercial snow clearing and ice management sites for our internal snow operations
- Visit customer sites to understand their equipment, property, application, and service needs
- Identify opportunities for service work, installations, seasonal contracts, repairs, and equipment upgrades
- Work with the internal team to prepare quotes, source parts, and follow up on opportunities
- Track leads, site visits, customer calls, quotes, and follow-ups
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Requirements
- Experience in outside sales, preferably in hydraulics, truck equipment, heavy equipment, fleet service, snow and ice, or vocational trucks
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, PTOs, pumps, valves, or truck upfitting
- Snow and ice equipment or commercial snow clearing experience is a strong asset
- Ability to communicate confidently with mechanics, fleet managers, business owners, contractors, property managers, and site supervisors
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s licence
- Comfortable travelling throughout B.C. as required

Compensation
Compensation includes a $50,000 per year base salary plus commission.
This is a performance-driven role with strong earning potential for the right person. Commission opportunities are available on profitable business brought into the company, including:
- Hydraulic parts and component sales
- PTO, pump, valve, and system sales
- Truck upfitting and installation projects
- Service and repair work
- Snow and ice equipment sales
- New commercial snow clearing and ice management sites
- Long-term seasonal contracts and repeat customer accounts
Expected total compensation will depend on performance, customer development, and profitable sales generated. Strong performers will have the opportunity to earn well above base salary.
Commission structure will be discussed during the interview process.
Company vehicle or vehicle allowance may be considered for the right candidate.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required depending on customer needs, travel, and seasonal demand.
