We are seeking a hands-on technician to install and service security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms. This is a field role focused on installation quality, system commissioning, and client handover. Email Resume to [email protected]
Responsibilities
- Install and terminate low-voltage cabling: Cat5e/Cat6, Composite cable, Alarm cable (multi-conductor)
- Install and Commissioning access control devices (controllers, readers, locks)
- Install and Commissioning CCTV systems (cameras, NVR)
- Install and Commissioning intrusion alarm systems (panels, sensors, keypads)
- Perform conduit work, device mounting, and cable management
- Basic Field Commissioning and setup network setup (IP addressing, PoE)
- Test, troubleshoot, and commission systems
- Complete documentation and client handover
Requirements
- 1+ years experience in security system installation
- Strong cabling and termination skills (including composite and alarm cable)
- Use power tools and installation equipment (drills, hammer drills, core drills, fish tapes, testers, lifts, etc.)
- Basic networking knowledge
- Ability to read drawings
- Valid driver’s license
Nice to Have
- Experience with enterprise-level security systems
- Safety certifications (working at heights, lift training)
- Door hardware experience
