A nanny's responsibilities include caring for INFANT and helping with household chores. Some of their duties include:
- Childcare: Bathing, dressing, and feeding of one (1) baby - 17 months at the moment. They also help organise activities, educational games, walks outside, and look after the child's wellbeing.
- Household chores: Washing, ironing, and organizing family's clothes and belongings. They may also prepare meals and snacks for the family. Cleaning and maintaining the house.
- Activities: Planning educational activities, play dates, and outings. They may also help with creative arts and crafts, singing, and reading.
- Record keeping: Keeping records of children's daily activities and health information.
- Safety: Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Feeding and following sleep schedules set by parents
A nanny are expected to have a pleasant and patient personality, and availability to work in shifts. Mostly Monday-Friday 8.30AM to 5.30PM and sometimes weekends and evenings. Schedule is always discussed and set in Advance. Further training in child development and first aid certification are also pluses.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare healthy meals.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
- Expérience with newborn infants.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
