Beaufort Winery is an organically certified winery on Vancouver Island. We are looking for a seasonal part-time tasting room employee. If you are passionate about wine and want to learn more, love working with people and enjoy the busyness of the hospitality industry; this is the job for you! Preferred start - ASAP.
Job Description:
- Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays with the occasional Friday. Roughly 12:00-6:00pm
- Weekend availability mandatory
- welcoming guests to the winery in a friendly manner
- providing a thoughtful and informative tasting experience to guests
- handling retail transactions on Commerce 7
- Wine stocking as needed
- bussing & polishing glassware
- maintaining a clean and professional working environment
- other duties as assigned
- pay commesurate with experience and includes shared daily tips
- Qualifications:
- Wine Training/WSET considered an asset but not mandatory
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Current Serving it Right
- Hospitality experience an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good computer skills
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
