Job Title: Land Servicing Site Supervisor

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Servicing Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate servicing operations across multiple project sites within the London region and surrounding Southwestern Ontario areas. This role requires a strong construction background, with in-depth knowledge of land servicing requirements, municipal standards, and Ontario government regulations. The successful candidate will act as a key link between field operations and head office, ensuring seamless communication, efficient coordination, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site land servicing activities, including earthworks, grading, underground utilities (watermain, sanitary, storm), road construction, and site preparation
- Work closely with Head Office (Project Managers, Estimators, and Senior Leadership) to align field operations with project schedules, budgets, and strategic objectives
- Provide regular updates to Head Office on project progress, risks, resource needs, and timelines
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and municipal inspectors to ensure efficient workflow and compliance
- Interpret and implement servicing drawings, specifications, and contracts accurately
- Ensure full compliance with municipal standards (City of London and surrounding municipalities), provincial regulations, and all applicable codes and policies
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to timelines
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve on-site issues, escalating to Head Office when required
- Maintain detailed documentation including daily site reports, progress tracking, safety records, and deficiency logs
- Lead and enforce health and safety practices in accordance with Ontario regulations and company policies
- Attend project meetings (virtual or in-person) with Head Office, clients, engineers, and municipal stakeholders
- Travel regularly between job sites within the London region and nearby communities
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on land development and servicing
- Strong working knowledge of servicing requirements, including water distribution, sanitary and storm systems, and roadway construction
- In-depth understanding of Ontario government regulations, approvals, and municipal servicing standards
- Experience with both commercial and residential construction projects
- Proven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and multiple job sites simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively between field teams and Head Office
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, grading plans, and servicing designs
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within the region
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Certifications such as WHMIS, Working at Heights, or other relevant safety training
- Experience working directly with municipalities in the London and Southwestern Ontario region
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
