Customer Service & Showroom Sales Representative
Job Summary
Alden's Shutters & Doors is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service & Showroom Sales Representative. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our showroom, helping them choose the right garage door products, preparing quotes, scheduling appointments, and providing outstanding customer service. You will also assist with general office administration and light bookkeeping duties to help keep our office running smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Welcome customers to our showroom and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist customers in selecting garage doors and related products based on their needs and budget.
- Prepare accurate quotes and follow up on customer inquiries.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with the sales and installation teams.
- Process customer orders, invoices, and payments.
- Perform general office administration, including filing, data entry, and maintaining customer records.
- Assist with light bookkeeping duties such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciling daily transactions.
- Work with accounting software and internal systems to maintain accurate records.
- Support the team with other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, office administration, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is considered an asset.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced office environment.
- Experience preparing quotes or working in the building supply, garage door, window, door, or construction industry is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
