The Role
We’re looking for a dependable, organized and client-focused Catering Delivery & Setup Coordinator to deliver food and equipment to events throughout Toronto and the GTA.
This person will be responsible for more than driving. You’ll confirm that every order is complete, transport it safely, arrive on time, set up the food according to Provisions’ presentation standards and act as the primary on-site contact for the client during delivery.
You should be comfortable working independently, solving minor issues on-site and representing Provisions with professionalism and warmth.
Responsibilities
- Review event details, delivery instructions and setup requirements before departure
- Confirm that all food, beverages, serviceware and equipment have been loaded
- Safely transport catering orders throughout Toronto and the GTA
- Maintain food quality and proper temperatures during transportation
- Arrive within the required delivery window
- Communicate with the client or venue contact upon arrival
- Unload and set up food according to the event instructions
- Arrange platters, buffet items, signage and serviceware neatly and intentionally
- Confirm that the client has received everything included in the order
- Provide a brief explanation of the menu, setup or reheating instructions when required
- Take clear photographs of the completed setup
- Report missing items, delays, damage or client concerns immediately
- Return equipment, rentals and other company property when required
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized and ready for service
- Assist with packing, loading and event preparation when needed
- Represent Provisions professionally at every client and venue interaction
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable driving in downtown Toronto and throughout the GTA
- Able to safely lift and carry up to approximately 50 pounds
- Strong punctuality, organization and attention to detail
- Professional, polished and comfortable speaking with clients
- Able to follow detailed written event instructions
- Calm and resourceful when plans change
- Comfortable working independently
- Available for variable shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Access to a smartphone with navigation and communication capabilities
- Catering, hospitality, delivery, event or customer-service experience is an asset
- Food Handler Certification is an asset
What Success Looks Like
- Every order arrives complete, safe and on time
- The setup matches the event instructions and Provisions’ presentation standards
- The client feels welcomed, informed and taken care of
- Issues are communicated immediately—not discovered after the event
- Event photos and required documentation are completed
- All company equipment is returned and accounted for

The successful candidate will understand that they are often the only Provisions team member the client meets in person. Their presentation, communication and attention to detail directly shape the client’s experience with our company.
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
