Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Student or Licensed Optician to join our dynamic optical team. Duties
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear that suits their needs and preferences
- Take precise measurements for lens fitting and frame adjustments
- Educate patients on lens options, frame styles, and proper eyewear care
- Process prescriptions accurately
- Manage retail sales transactions efficiently and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized optical dispensary area
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction and retention
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
Experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care is preferred
- Prior optical experience or retail sales background is highly desirable
