Part-Time English Teacher
Inspiration Learning Center – Thornhill& Aurora
Inspiration Learning Center is a Canadian education company founded in 2003.
We are hiring a Part-Time English Teacher to teach local and international students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 in a supportive, student-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach English (speaking, listening, reading, writing)
- Small classes (1–4 students) or 1-on-1 sessions
- Use provided textbooks and teaching materials
- Support students with varying English levels
Class Details:
- Class length: 60–120 minutes
- Schedule: Weekdays after 3:30 PM; Saturday availability preferred
- Flexible hours (early morning or evening for some classes)
- In person sessions at our center
- Clean, quiet home teaching space required for online classes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field
- TEFL/TESOL/CELTA preferred
- Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) preferred
- Familiarity with Ontario Elementary & Secondary (G9–12) curriculum
- 2+ years of teaching experience preferred
- Engaging and energetic teaching style
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
