Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of household and commercial appliances. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to interpret schematics. Duties
- Diagnose appliance issues through inspection and testing, utilizing schematics and technical manuals
- Repair or replace faulty components in appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, and HVAC units
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs to extend appliance lifespan
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and professionally
- Assemble appliances or parts as needed for installation or repair purposes
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Keep work area clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively
- Mechanical knowledge related to appliance components and systems
- Prior experience in appliance repair or similar technical roles preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not required
- Experience with assembly of appliances or related equipment is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for on-site visits
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
