Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Trainer / Consultant to join our team to cover our training overload. The Health and Safety Trainer will be responsible for conducting Northern Safety Solutions safety training programs and scheduled training sessions throughout Northern Ontario. The consultant portion would audit worksites for compliance.
Duties
The successful candidate will be trained by Northern Safety Solutions as a certified trainer to deliver our training programs at the high standard set by NSS. The training sessions will be at our training centre in Sudbury or at our client's sites.
Experience
The candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of health and safety as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the sector regulations for Ontario workplaces. The candidate shall be organized and be able to work on their own and lead participants to successfully complete the required training. They must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, ,Outlook and Power Point. The candidate must be bondable, provide a criminal check as well as have their own reliable vehicle for travel. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in health and safety as well as delivering training programs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
