We are hiring energetic and responsible Heavy Equipment Technicians to join the team full-time in Clairmont, Alberta.
BJ Energy offers an 8 days on/6 days off schedule as well as a 16 days on/12 days off schedule.
For apprentices, we provide paid time off to attend a technical school to reach the next level in your apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all fracturing units

Interpret work orders and technical manuals on paper and in electronic based formats

Keep organized maintenance reports and documentation

Highly motivated self-starter able to work with little supervision

Communicating directly with management, as well as field staff
-
Able to work in shop, as well as perform field repairs as part of fracturing crew
-
Work on call as required. Work additional overtime when necessary
Requirements:
-
Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician, or an equivalent level of skills and experience
-
Current CVIP license is an asset.
-
Caterpillar powertrain experience preferred.
-
Hydraulic troubleshooting experience an asset.
-
Fluid transfer experience an asset.
-
Class 1 driver’s license Preferred but not mandatory.
