Job Summary
DoubleTree by Hilton Kamloops is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Room Attendant who is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role ensures all guest rooms and assigned areas are cleaned, sanitized, and well-presented in accordance with Hilton brand standards. The Room Attendant plays a key role in delivering a welcoming and comfortable experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, following established procedures and using appropriate cleaning chemicals
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and guest amenities
- Replenish coffee stations, dispose of used coffee pods, and clean coffee makers
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly to the maintenance team or management
- Restock housekeeping carts and maintain organized storage areas
- Respond to all guest requests in a courteous and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and brand standards
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all guest rooms and belongings
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
- Good time management skills and ability to meet daily productivity targets
- Basic English communication skills

Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Day and evening shifts available
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
