About the Role
The Industrial Millwright will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving industrial machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will help minimize production downtime by diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting equipment modifications and fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions.
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility structures.
- Modify, fabricate, and improve equipment to meet evolving production requirements.
- Support maintenance and repairs involving CNC machinery, brake presses, welding equipment, and assembly fixtures.
- Follow all applicable health, safety, environmental, and workplace procedures.
- Document maintenance activities and communicate issues effectively with team members and other departments.
- Work independently while contributing to team-based problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Industrial Millwright certification, equivalent education, or relevant hands-on experience.
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, machining, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with solid mathematical skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, including CNC, brake press, welding, and assembly fixtures.
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions, safety procedures, and work documentation in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively collaborate within a team.
- Knowledge of and compliance with WHMIS, the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), and other applicable workplace regulations.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and continuous learning initiatives.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
