VISTOR SERVICES COORDINATOR - Start Date: A.S.A.P.
Summary
This position leads all visitor service departments in coordinating and providing an excellent experience for all guests and groups. The successful candidate will be responsible for continually developing all visitor service-related aspects of the Garden
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
2-4 years' experience coordinating and managing large and small events, experience managing vendors, volunteer groups, community partners and staff. Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
Ability to analyze and solve problems, and to prepare routine statistical reports.
Communicate effectively internally and externally, both orally and in writing.
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
Knowledge of cash management principles and/or procedures of customer service standards and procedures, of basic marketing, promotion, and/or visual merchandising techniques.
Experience with various computer programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Event Management software.
Responsible to familiarize yourself with USA and CA laws/regulations regarding venues eg. Liquor license, capacities.
Hours may be reduced in the winter. Health benefit also offered.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
