Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor for our Dairy Frozen department. This leadership role requires a proactive individual with strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid background in retail operations. The Supervisor-Dairy Frozen will oversee daily store activities, ensure excellent customer service, and drive sales performance while maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess supervisory experience, team management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management principles, including merchandising, pricing, and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that the Dairy/Frozen Associates exemplify superior guest service with a friendly, helpful, and courteous attitude, using product knowledge and information to answer all questions guests may have about products
- Monitoring dates on all products and properly rotating stock.
- Contribute to and ensure achievement of proper Dairy/Frozen conditions by maintaining production standards and proper product levels.
- Receive and unload the Dairy/Frozen Department truck – All perishable products must be put into the proper temperature as quickly as possible.
- Regularly check temperatures in coolers and display cases to ensure proper temperature is maintained.
- Rotate product to company standards.
- Maintain ordering and inventory control.
- Maintain variety and layout standards set by the company.
- Understand and adhere to company safety guidelines and standard practices.
- Maintain and improve quality assurance, food safety and sanitation standards by periodically checking expiry dates and dealing with damages and returned goods.
- Assists with other duties as assigned.
- Working Conditions:
- Able to work in cold food areas
- Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends
Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
