Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in their own homes. In this role, you will be responsible for caring for children of various ages, supporting their development through educational activities, meal preparation, and daily routines. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs and preferences
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, napping, and potty training as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing regular cleaning tasks including tidying up play areas and laundry
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized caregiving
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, activities, and any concerns
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a caregiving or teaching capacity
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Strong skills in meal preparation and cooking nutritious foods for children
- Ability to perform cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices, including safety protocols and child development principles
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and support children's growth
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is highly desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is preferred
