We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine specific treatment plans tailored to individual health concerns.
- Perform various massage techniques to alleviate pain and muscular tension.
- Educate patients on self-care practices, occupational health strategies, and injury prevention to promote long-term wellness.
- Maintain detailed treatment records, ensuring accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients requiring specialized therapies.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that adheres to all health regulations and sanitation standards.
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and advancements in medical terminology related to physiotherapy and massage therapy.
Qualifications
- Valid registration with CMTO.
- Proven experience in patient service with a focus on therapeutic massage modalities such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients.
- Experience working in med spas or occupational health settings is preferred. Freshers welcome too.
- Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment strategies.
