Job Summary
Reporting to the Shipping and Receiving Manager, the Receiving and Delivery Associate is responsible for handling and processing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and assisting in maintaining an organized warehouse. This role involves receiving deliveries, managing inventory, driving to other locations to support operations, delivering barrels as needed, and supporting cross-departmental activities to contribute to the overall success of the company
Receive Deliveries

Welcome delivery trucks and coordinate the receipt of incoming shipments.

Inspect deliveries to ensure accuracy and check for damages or discrepancies
Company Product Transfers

Delivery of product to Salisbury’s Sherwood Park location when requested
Commercial Barrels
-
Deliver and pick up commercial barrels at various locations in the Edmonton area
Inventory Management

Print and apply required stickers, barcodes, and labels to products.

Maintain inventory records and ensure accurate documentation of warehouse activities.

Record and manage impaired or damaged merchandise items
Warehouse Organization

Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse.

Deliveries and transfers between stores when required.

Contribute ideas to improve or optimize warehouse procedures.
Cross-Department Support

Collaborate with other departments to enhance company performance.

Support additional tasks and duties as required to meet operational needs.

Other duties as required including supporting other departments
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse is considered an asset

Familiarity with inventory systems and processes

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs)

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Basic computer skills for managing records and printing labels

Clean driver abstract and three years of personal insurance coverage
