The Bakery Mixer is responsible for working to set up and operate mixers in bakery ,for well-organized, timely and efficient preparation and handling of ingredients in the Bakery .We will provide you with hands on training in order to learn your responsibilities and task in the plant ;cross training is key to keeping our talented team engaged and able to provide relief in all areas of our operations.
Responsibilities:
-Accurately weigh and measure large quantities of dry and wet ingredients according to exact formula sheets.
-Operate large commercial mixing equipment and all the mixers in the bakery.
-Monitor mixing times, speeds, and vital dough temperatures using thermometers to prevent overheating.
- Sets up machine according to standard operating procedures and spec sheet, ensures good manufacturing practices are followed.
- Understands machine capabilities and let supervisors know if machine require any repairs.
- Ensures quality of Dough coming off mixer for falling in quality standards based on set standards.
- Ability to follow Food safety and quality standards, Manufacturing practices and safety policies.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality according to company standards.
- Monitor mixing parameters vital dough temperatures using thermometers , record lot code ingredient every new batch used and record in the digital forms.
- Provide support to the production team.
-Maintains clean, safe workplace and machine during the shift.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Previous experience as a Bakery mixer is an assest.
- Mechanical dexterity, math and measuring skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to translate written/drawing i
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently
Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 25-30 LB.
-Able to stand and work most of the time in the shift and comfortable performing repetitive tasks and extended periods of standing, twisting and bending.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy floor.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
-Previous experience in manufacturing as machine operator is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time
Time : Shift starting at 3:00 am in the morning.
Pay: Discus during interview according to the experience
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Must have own transportation to come to work.
