Key Responsibilities
- Perform restoration and remediation work related to water, fire, mold, asbestos, and biohazard damages
- Ensure all job sites meet safety and environmental standards, following company procedures and legal requirements
- Identify, contain, and safely remove hazardous materials (asbestos, mold, biohazards)
- Handle biohazard materials with care and discretion according to safety protocols
- Assist in emergency response situations, including floods, fires, and trauma or crime scenes
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies (evenings, weekends, and holidays as required)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, vehicles, and tools
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Ability to follow detailed scopes of work and documentation requirements
- Physically fit – able to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces
- Clean-shaven face (if applicable) for respirator fit testing
- Valid driver’s license and clean criminal record (background check required)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call shift for emergency response work
Preferred Assets (Training Provided for the Right Candidate)
- Type 2 Asbestos Abatement Operations Ticket
- WRT (Water Remediation Technician) Certification
- TCST (Trauma & Crime Scene Technician) Certification
- Previous experience in restoration, construction, or environmental remediation
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts; overtime, weekends, and on-call rotation as required
- Compensation: Competitive hourly wage with hazard pay
