The Gear Centre Group, a leading provider of powertrain parts and service for the automotive, heavy truck and off highway equipment industries, is currently seeking a Delivery Driver for our Edmonton location.
As the Delivery Driver you are responsible to accurately pick up and deliver parts in the greater Edmonton area.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive the company one ton truck with manual transmission in a cautious, responsible manner in all weather conditions
- Pick up & delivery of product for our branches and external customers
- Maintain friendly, courteous communications providing updates regarding the status of deliveries
- Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy of all orders
- Ability to safely operate forklift and pallet jack
Experience:
- 1-3 years of previous driving experience would be considered an asset
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract required
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities on a daily basis
- A thorough knowledge of the greater Edmonton areas and ability to locate addresses easily
- Must possess excellent customer service skill
