Job Summary
We are a small, locally run painting business that has been operating for over 6 years, and we are looking to add another painter to our team for the busy summer season, with potential for longer-term work.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Painter to assist with residential and commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of painting experience, works well independently and with a team, and takes pride in providing high-quality work.
Customer service experience is preferred but not required. Having a vehicle is also preferred, but not mandatory.

Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, masking, and priming
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment when needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Communicate professionally with team members and clients
- Follow all safety procedures on job sites
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of painting experience
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Customer service experience is considered an asset
- Vehicle preferred but not required
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
