Chrono Aviation was founded in Quebec City in 2012. In its early days, the airline operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Chrono quickly attracted clients seeking a comfortable, efficient, and safe flying experience.
After a decade in business, Chrono Aviation has expanded its fleet to 12 aircraft and employs over 200 people. Chrono is a Quebec-based airline offering planes that can accommodate between 9 and 189 passengers, exclusively for charter flights. With bases in Montreal and Quebec City, Chrono continues its expansion, reinforcing its position as a leader in the charter flight industry in Quebec and Canada.
Role and context
The Technical Aviation Data Specialist (Fleet and Maintenance) is responsible for updating, validating, and maintaining the integrity of technical data related to flight operations and aircraft maintenance. The successful candidate manages flight and maintenance data, ensuring accuracy, document compliance, and the proper functioning of technical systems.
Key responsibilities
- Update databases related to aircraft flight hours and cycles.
- Verify the accuracy of flight data and perform or coordinate any required corrections.
- Enter engine data into the designated computer system following each flight.
- Update databases related to completed maintenance activities.
- Validate the accuracy of maintenance data and follow up on required corrections with service providers when necessary.
- Generate, compile, and transfer engine and propeller information into the appropriate serialized records.
- Verify, scan, and file completed flight sheets and technical logbooks.
- Verify, scan, and file original maintenance documents.
- Prepare required monthly reports and distribute them to relevant stakeholders.
- Administer the computer system associated with technical operations and implement required changes.
- Contribute to the design, optimization, and management of work tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure the integrity, traceability, and archiving of technical documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Collaborate with operations teams, maintenance personnel, and service providers to ensure the quality and consistency of technical information.
- Strictly apply company procedures as well as current regulatory and documentation requirements.

Specific job requirements
- Relevant education or experience in a field related to aviation, maintenance, or technical administration.
- Relevant experience in a similar role within an aviation, technical, or regulated environment.
- Experience with technical data entry, validation, and management.
- Proficiency with computer applications and the ability to work with technical operations or maintenance management systems.
- Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and follow up on required corrective actions.
- Good knowledge of English is required to understand technical documentation and communicate, when necessary, with English-speaking stakeholders or suppliers in Canada and internationally.
