Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Water Taxi Sales Staff / Dock Staff to join our team. This role involves assisting passengers, managing dock operations, and promoting our water taxi services on the Toronto Islands. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an engaging work environment near scenic waterways, perfect for individuals interested in outdoor activities, hospitality, and sales.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist passengers arriving at the dock, ensuring a welcoming experience
- Selling our water taxi service
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dock area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist with loading and unloading passengers, including helping with luggage or mobility aids as needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure passenger safety and operational compliance
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations during shifts
- Working duing busy periods, especially weekends and Holidays
- Able to stand for 8 hours
Experience
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining professionalism
- A proactive attitude with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
