We are seeking a Skilled Labourer to support a variety of civil construction projects throughout Delta, Surrey, and Langley. Working alongside experienced crews, you will assist with earthworks, underground utility installations, roadworks, drainage systems, excavation, and other civil infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys outdoor work and takes pride in contributing to safe, high-quality construction projects.

Assist with earthworks and the installation of underground water, sanitary, and storm drainage systems.

Install manholes, catch basins, headwalls, lawn basins, and other precast concrete structures.

Support pipeline installation by positioning pipe, preparing trenches, and assisting pipelayers.

Transport and organize materials, tools, and equipment on-site.

Perform grading and site preparation using rakes, shovels, and other hand tools.

Remove debris and maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite.

Assist with demolition and material handling as required.

Safely operate and use hand tools and power tools.

Follow all safety procedures, particularly when working around trenches and heavy equipment.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members.

Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Minimum 1 year of civil construction experience.

Experience working with earthworks, trenching, and underground utility installations.

Familiarity with safe work practices around trenches, excavations, and heavy equipment.

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.

Proficient with common construction hand and power tools.

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Experience supporting pipelayers on underground utility projects.

Knowledge of grading, excavation, and site preparation.

Experience with roadworks, structural drainage, mass wall construction, or in-stream works.

Experience in underground utility repairs and maintenance.

Experience working in a unionized construction environment.

Projects are primarily located in Surrey, Delta, and Langley. Work is performed outdoors in active construction environments and includes exposure to varying weather conditions, trenches, heavy equipment, and physically demanding tasks. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and productivity while contributing to the successful delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
