General Description
The Millwright maintains production up time and safety by ensuring preventive, predictive maintenance and troubleshooting of production and auxiliary operational machinery and mechanical equipment. This position is physically demanding and requires attention to detail, acute problem solving and excellent communication skills. The Millwright position is also involved in heavy equipment repair and is responsible for the complete breakdown/teardown and rebuilding of heavy equipment presses, conveyors, pumps, compressors, fans, hydraulic, furnaces, hoists and other lifting devices, braking systems and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities
- Complete heavy press overhauls on 40 – 300-ton presses
- Execute Preventive Maintenance tasks on time and fix the findings or report them.
- Heavy mechanical repair and rebuild
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Equipment inspection, testing, lubrication
- Overhaul of winching, tugging, rigging and hoisting equipment
- Follow safe working habits & demonstrate commitment to Continuous Improvement
- Follows all Health and Safety policies and Procedures
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by entering PM tickets per department processes
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Have initiative on solving equipment chronic failures.
- Execute continuous improvement initiatives oriented on reducing and preventing downtime, improve safety, cost reduction and increase production efficiency.

Pay: $32.18-$40.22 per hour
