Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics and AI Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced robotic systems and artificial intelligence solutions. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical engineering, system design, and programming, with a focus on creating efficient, reliable, and scalable automation solutions for manufacturing and research applications. Duties
- Design and develop robotic systems to meet project specifications.
- Develop firmware and embedded software using C++, Python, Perl, and scripting languages to control hardware components.
- Create detailed schematics, electrical diagrams, and CAD models using AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and CAD tools for mechanical and electrical system design.
- Perform signal processing tasks and system analysis using MATLAB, ANSYS, and other simulation tools to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary members to integrate mechanical engineering principles with electrical system design for seamless automation solutions.
- Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and testing of hardware/software components to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Develop system documentation including schematics, technical reports, and user manuals for manufacturing or research deployment.
- Support manufacturing processes by providing technical expertise on system design, electrical engineering standards, and automation protocols.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in robotics, AI algorithms, FPGA development, and industrial automation to continuously improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related fields.
- Proven experience with FPGA development platforms and tools such as ANSYS for simulation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks for CAD modeling.
- Hands-on experience with ARM processors and embedded firmware development in C++, Python, Perl.
- Expertise in signal processing techniques and MATLAB for data analysis.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and industrial automation including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics design.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles including circuit design, debugging electrical systems, schematics creation.
- Ability to perform system design integrating hardware/software components effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging complex systems under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to document technical details clearly and collaborate across teams effectively.
