About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team at a busy Toyota dealership. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Toyota vehicles to the highest standards of safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, inspections)
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Repair and replace automotive components including brakes, suspension, engines, and transmissions
- Conduct vehicle inspections and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and safety regulations
- Collaborate with service advisors and team members to deliver excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Automotive Service Technician certification (Journeyman or Red Seal)
- Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Toyota systems and procedures is an asset
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
