Ideal candidates can perform one or more of the following tasks: Brake Press Operation, CNC (punch and laser) operation, Welding + Grinding, & Material Handling.
GENERAL Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating CNC brake press machines and/or CNC Punch Press and/or Laser and/or Paint process
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using measuring tools and performing precise measurements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machine (brake press, turret press, etc) to form metal sheets as per engineering drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements
- Utilize measuring tools such as calipers to ensure precise dimensions of finished products
- Perform routine maintenance on brake press machines to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Use PPE, report Hazards, Contribute to a healthy working environment for all
Supervision:
- General supervision received from sheet metal supervisors
