Overview
We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as 1st and 2nd Year Apprentices in the electrical trade. This paid apprenticeship provides hands-on experience and training in electrical systems, construction, and industrial applications. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in developing their skills in electrical work, with opportunities to learn from experienced professionals. This role offers a comprehensive pathway to becoming a skilled electrician, with exposure to various aspects of industrial electrical systems and construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings
- Use hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment to perform assigned tasks
- Learn to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints for proper wiring and system setup
- Participate in construction activities related to electrical installations and upgrades
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Gain experience working with low voltage systems, circuit breakers, switches, and control panels
- Contribute to the troubleshooting of electrical issues under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards
Skills
- Basic knowledge or interest in industrial electrician work and electrical systems
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction practices is a plus
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
- Understanding of low voltage electrical systems is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills through hands-on training and mentorship
- Prior experience or coursework related to electrical work or construction is advantageous but not required

Pay: $17.84-$44.61 per hour
