Experienced Shipper / Receiver & Route Coordinator
Full-Time Position
We are seeking a highly experienced and reliable Shipper / Receiver & Route Coordinator to join our team. This role is best suited for a candidate with strong hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and route planning.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, punctual, safety-focused, and has solid knowledge of Winnipeg and Manitoba delivery routes.
Schedule
- Sunday to Thursday
- 4:00 AM start time
- Overtime and weekends as required
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily shipping and receiving operations with accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare, inspect, label, and organize all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently
- Verify orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation for accuracy
- Plan, optimize, and execute delivery routes across Winnipeg and Manitoba
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers, drivers, and customers
- Maintain accurate shipment schedules to meet deadlines
- Operate forklifts and power jacks safely and responsibly
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient shipping/receiving area
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, suppliers, and sales teams
- Support inventory control and warehouse organization as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, and produce warehouse operations (required)
- Strong experience or understanding of logistics and route planning
- Solid knowledge of Winnipeg and Manitoba road network preferred
- Forklift and Power Jack certification or proven experience required
- Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to safely lift up to 60 lbs
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Must have own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles is an asset
- Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
