Position Summary
As a Drywaller / Painter, you will be responsible for a variety of residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong drywall experience who understands renovations, repairs, and restoration work following property damage.
You’ll work on trim, drywall, and finishing work; helping return properties to pre-loss condition with quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry and restoration work on residential and commercial properties
- Drywall installation, boarding, taping, trim, and finishing carpentry
- Repair and rebuild areas damaged by water, fire, mold, or storm events
- Install doors, baseboards, casings, cabinetry, and other finish materials
- Read and follow scopes of work, measurements, and project specifications
- Work closely with project managers and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, cottage owners, subcontractors, and team members
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and building code requirements
Qualifications
- Experience in carpentry, renovations, restoration, or general construction
- Strong knowledge of drywall, trim, and finishing work
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on site
- Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in occupied homes and customer-facing environments
- Ability to lift materials and perform physical work
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Preferred Experience
- Restoration industry experience (water, fire, or mold damage)
- Experience working in occupied residential homes or cottages
- IICRC certifications are considered an asset
- Experience with insurance restoration projects
- Valid G Class Driver’s Licence with clean driving record

- Be willing to work occasional overtime when required

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
