Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but a positive attitude and strong customer service skills are essential. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
- Follow all restaurant policies regarding food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of the food industry best practices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Basic math skills for bill calculation, cash handling, and upselling techniques
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is a plus but not required
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and guests
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
