Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC - A/C Furnace Installer to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in construction or appliance repair, with the ability to interpret schematics and work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities
- Install new A/C units, furnaces, and related HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on existing HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings for accurate installation and servicing
- Conduct system inspections to identify issues related to plumbing, welding, or mechanical components
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Ensure all installations comply with local codes and safety regulations
- Assist in upgrading or replacing outdated systems as needed
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for each project
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, repair, or maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Construction or mechanic experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including A/C units and furnaces
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces as required
Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
