Overview
We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and repair skills, a solid understanding of automotive systems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Experience working on a variety of vehicles, including passenger vehicles, trucks, heavy equipment, farm machinery, and industrial equipment, is an asset.

Duties
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain automobiles, trucks, and heavy equipment using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake repairs, engine tune-ups, suspension work, and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and hydraulic systems.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair schematics to accurately identify and resolve mechanical issues.
- Perform welding and light fabrication work as required.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components during repair and maintenance procedures.
- Conduct thorough safety inspections and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and industry safety standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair recommendations clearly to customers.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by explaining repairs, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar mechanical repair role.
- Dealership experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, and HVAC.
- Experience with heavy equipment, farm machinery, or industrial equipment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues efficiently.
- Physically capable of performing heavy lifting and working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow with the team.
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
