SmallPC, a North American leader in industrial computing solutions, and Econet Controls, a leader in water leak detection and prevention (sister companies) are looking for a Production Technician to assist with a range of computer and electronics assembly and production. Ideal skillset:
- Experience with computer hardware, including Windows operating systems, BIOS, drivers, software, and hard drive/OS imaging.
- Good general PC knowledge, including CPUs, RAM, SSDs, and motherboards.
- Experience with, and comfortable performing, hands-on production work, including PC assembly, custom mechanical assembly, drilling, soldering, etc.
- Experience with LCD assembly, ideally including knowledge of LVDS systems, video controllers, and PCB assemblies.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions and multitask.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to adapt and work with team members to find solutions to issues.
- Quick learner who can adapt to a changing environment. Since most of our work is project-based, workloads can change significantly from week to week.
- Experience with quality control and shipping/receiving would be a strong asset.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
