Coffee Lodge is seeking a hands on assistant manager for our Exmouth Street location.
The position will be 30+ hours per week.
The ideal candidate has a passion for coffee, serving guests, and leading a team in our fast-paced, local cafe. A commitment to great food and coffee are a must!
Key Responsibilities: The ideal candidates will be extremely customer focused, outgoing, and friendly with experience in the customer service industry. You will be responsible for all aspects of service, quality, cleanliness and operation the cafe during your shift. You must be able to perform all duties and responsibilities required in the operation of a cafe:
- Previous supervisory/management experience is preferred.
- Positions is primarily days & afternoon
- This is a hands on position. Food preparation and/or barista experience is an asset.
- Must have access to adequate transportation.
- Basic computer skills for store level administration.
- Fundamental reading, writing, math and computer and/POS skills are required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
- Passion for coffee. The position will require working all aspects of the cafe including coffee, espresso and food. Training will be provided.
- Store administrative tasks.
- Food service experience, food handler certificate.
- Strong communication skills.
- Commitment to quality.
- Ability to take initiative, run strong shifts, and train and coach teammates to do the same!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
