Moraine Wealth Advisory is a Calgary-based wealth advisory firm providing financial planning, insurance solutions and discretionary portfolio management for individuals, families, and business owners. Our team works closely together to ensure clients feel confident about their financial goals.
We are currently seeking an experienced and fully licensed Insurance Administrator to join our Calgary office.
*This is an in-office position Monday to Friday.
Position Overview
The Insurance Administrator will be responsible for managing insurance applications, policy administration, carrier communication, and client service support. The successful candidate will work closely with advisors, insurance carriers, and clients to ensure a seamless and efficient experience from application through policy servicing.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage life insurance, disability, critical illness, and segregated fund applications
- Coordinate underwriting requirements and follow up with carriers, clients, and advisors
- Track pending business and maintain accurate records within CRM and carrier systems
- Prepare insurance documentation, policy reviews, and client correspondence
- Assist advisors with insurance illustrations, quotes, and product information
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures
- Handle policy changes, beneficiary updates, renewals, and other service requests
- Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and external partners
- Support client onboarding and ongoing service activities
- Provide exceptional administrative and client support to the advisory team
Qualifications & Experience
- Completion of the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) and fully licensed in Alberta
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in insurance administration ideally within a wealth management, financial planning, or insurance firm
- Strong understanding of life insurance and wealth management products
- Experience working with multiple insurance carriers, underwriting processes and contracting
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Professional, client-focused, and team-oriented mindset
The following will be considered an asset:
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements within the financial services industry
- Knowledge of industry software platforms: WealthServ, Equisoft, APEXA

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
