Residential Cleaner / Cleaning Technician

Maid by Amiee is a growing eco-friendly residential cleaning company looking for a reliable, detail-oriented cleaner to join our team.
We provide residential cleaning services throughout Durham Region including Oshawa, Whitby, Courtice, Bowmanville, Pickering, and surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible part-time work with room to grow within a small business.
Responsibilities:
- General residential cleaning (bathrooms, kitchens, dusting, bedrooms, floors, etc.)
- Deep cleans / first-time cleans
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Following detailed cleaning checklists and client notes
- Working both independently and as part of a team
- Driving between multiple client homes is required almost daily
Requirements:
- Reliable vehicle is required
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Comfortable driving throughout Durham Region (Pickering to Newcastle and occasionally north)
- Must be comfortable working in homes with pets
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently when needed
- Open to feedback and ongoing training
- Must provide a valid police background check
- Ability to occasionally stay later if a job runs longer than expected
Schedule:
- Primarily Monday–Friday
- Daytime hours (typically between 9 AM–5 PM)
- Hours vary depending on client schedule
- No guaranteed full-time hours at this time
Pay:
- Training wage starts at $20/hour
- Wage increases available based on experience, performance, and leadership responsibilities
