Position Summary
The Flat Roofing Foreman leads commercial flat roofing crews through safe, efficient, high-quality installation, repair, and replacement work. This role oversees daily job site operations, coordinates with project managers, ensures work meets specifications and safety standards, and mentors crew members.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead commercial flat roofing crews.
Plan daily work activities to meet project schedules.
Install, repair, and replace TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, and Built-Up roofing systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
Inspect work to ensure company and manufacturer standards are met.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Train and mentor crew members in roofing techniques and safe work practices.
Communicate progress, material needs, and challenges to the project manager.
Coordinate deliveries, equipment, and job site logistics.
Maintain a clean, organized, professional job site.
Complete daily reports, timesheets, and required documentation.
Qualifications
2+ years leading commercial flat roofing crews; 5+ years flat roofing experience preferred.
Proven experience installing and repairing commercial flat roofing systems.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
Strong knowledge of roofing systems & materials, installation methods, and manufacturer specifications.
Knowledge of workplace safety standards and safe roofing practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements
