Lead One of the Region's Busiest Lumber Operations
Dick's Lumber has been serving Western Canada's construction industry for over 60 years, providing professional builders and contractors with quality building materials and exceptional service. We're looking for an experienced Yard & Warehouse Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy Burnaby location.

What You'll Do
- Lead the daily operations of the lumber yard and warehouse.
- Supervise, coach, and develop a unionized workforce.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and inventory control.
- Foster collaboration between yard and store teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Champion workplace safety and serve as the Management Representative on the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
- Manage union grievances and ensure compliance with the collective agreement.
- Ensure operational documentation is completed accurately and on time.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 3 years of lumber industry experience, is a requirement.
- Experience managing unionized employees is preferred.
- Leadership experience in a yard, warehouse, or distribution environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Working Conditions
- Majority of the workday is spent outside in the yard.
- Exposure to outdoor weather, dust, and dirt.
- Safety boots are required.
