In Centre/Virtual Registered Behavior Analyst
Job Description: As a RBA at Empowered Academy, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of our students by providing expert guidance and support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising 3-4 Senior Therapists.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs and strengths of each student.
- Developing individualized behavior intervention plans behaviour support plans based on assessments and ongoing data analysis.
- Collaborating with our team of educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure seamless implementation of behaviour support plans
- Providing training and supervision to behavior technicians and other team members.
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress through data collection and analysis.
- Making necessary adjustments to behaviour support plans to maximize effectiveness and achieve targeted goals.
- Collaborating with families to ensure a consistent approach to behavior management both at school and at home.
- Direct Client work as needed
- Staying current with the latest research and best practices in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Qualifications:
- Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) Certification.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.
