Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security based on our client requirements. This role involves monitoring property, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and experience in surveillance or law enforcement. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure security protocols are followed
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including assisting law enforcement when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when appropriate
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff with directions or inquiries while maintaining security protocols
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques is highly desirable
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
- Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and interaction with the public
- Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work flexible shifts as needed
- Ability to pass any required background checks or screenings necessary for security roles

Pay: $15.70-$25.33 per hour
