We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team with 2 year dental experience. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a busy dental office environment. This role requires proficiency in electronic medical records and familiarity with dental terminology to ensure smooth operations and effective communication within the practice.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for dental providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems, including Dentrix and Epic.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services.
- Process patient insurance claims and verify insurance coverage as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean, organized reception area.
Skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records systems,.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental practices.
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is preferred.
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
