Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment Execution: Manage end-to-end recruitment for operations and functional roles across Canada, including job posting, resume screening, interview coordination, candidate follow-up, and feedback collection. Assist with background checks and maintain recruitment channels, ensuring strict compliance with PIPEDA personal information protection requirements.
- Attendance Management: Conduct daily attendance verification, handle attendance discrepancies, and provide accurate data to support payroll processing.
- Onboarding, Transfers & Offboarding: Support the full onboarding process for new hires, including documentation review, system account setup, file creation, and onboarding preparation. Handle employee transfers, role changes, and termination procedures.
- Basic Employee Relations & Inquiries: Respond to day-to-day employee inquiries regarding leave, working hours, and HR procedures. Assist with workplace injury reporting and other routine administrative matters.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or related fields.
- Prior HR internship experience preferred; experience with high-volume recruitment in retail, F&B, or FMCG industries is a plus.
- Language: Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written), with strong communication skills to support seamless coordination with headquarters and a culturally diverse workforce.
- Familiarity with Canadian employment standards/labour laws is a strong asset.
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic understanding of recruitment processes and structured interview techniques.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (data organization), Word, and PowerPoint.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
