Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our construction and heavy machinery team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy equipment, including dozers, loaders, backhoes and excavators. This role requires mechanical knowledge, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in demanding environments. The Equipment Operator will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects by safely and effectively managing heavy machinery. Candidates with construction experience, farm machinery operation, or commercial driving backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes and excavators with precision and safety.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines.
- Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment operation and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to project schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery including dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator or similar equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance and troubleshooting of construction machinery.
- Experience working in construction sites or farm environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment or other major brands is advantageous.
- Commercial driving experience or licensing is a plus.
- Prior experience working with heavy equipment in demanding conditions demonstrates reliability and skill in this role.

Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
